About Us Money Skills for Real Life: GEAR UP High School was written and produced for the National Council for Community & Education Partnerships as a public service by the Denver-based National Endowment for Financial Education; William L. The National Council for Community & Education Partnerships (NCCEP) www.edpartnerships.org is a not-for-profit umbrella organization whose mission is to develop and strengthen broad-based partnerships throughout the education continuum, from early childhood through postsecondary education.
NCCEP partners with and provides technical assistance to the U.S. Department of Education GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) grant program grantees.
NCCEP also operates the following programs: California Education Reform Communities Network (Irvine Project); Collaboration for Education Reform Initiative (CERI); Engaging Latino Communities in Education (ENLACE); NCCEP-Kellogg Research and Evaluation Training Institute; National K-16 Policy Forums; Partners in Hispanic Education; Pathways to College Network; Project GRAD; Youth Leadership Summit; and Excellence and Innovation in Education Grants.
